Hey, I'm Elizabeth!
A fashion consultant and business mentor working with independent clothing brands taking your designs from paper to production.
After having worked in this industry for over 16+ years, I've seen everything! From the good and the bad to the ugly, this course will help you avoid all those costly mistakes which could be hiding around the corner.
I've worked in fashion buying & supplier design management for UK brands like Next, New Look, Miss Selfridge, River Island & George @ Asda.
Since leaving I’ve worked as a consultant for some of the top UK independent brands such as Olivia Rose The Label, Olive and Frank & Lucy and Yak.
I set up my business in 2018 after managing the launch of a brand called NEW girl ORDER. My small team knew the industry inside out, with decades of experience between us, and there was still a HUGE list of things to do: PR, marketing, web development, social media & not to mention the design, sourcing, production, budget planning … the list went on!
It got me thinking of all the brands out there who needed this advice but didn’t have the experience, the contacts, or the support network to ask for help and guidance.
That’s when I knew it was time to leave and put my skills to good use, to help support budding fashion brands like you by sharing the knowledge I’ve gained over the past decade in the industry!
How to Grow a Fashion Brand - 4 Session Breakdown
Session 1 - FINDING YOUR PURPOSE AND IDEAL CUSTOMER
The fashion market is a competitive one, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible. The way to stand out from the crowd is having a USP and strong purpose, so we’ll work on building these foundations in session One.
I'll give you a template to fill in which will give you your mission statement so you'll feel confident in expressing what your brand stands for. We'll also focus on your customer profile & how to attract your ideal audience!
By the end of session 1:
You’ll have a clear and unique brand strategy and compelling story.
Session 2 - TRENDS, DESIGNS & VISUAL BRAND IDENTITY
Now we know what your brand stands for and who your audience is, we'll be looking at the aesthetics - this is going to be a fun session!
We’ll be going over how to come up with mood boards, brand fonts, colour palettes and design trends. I know it can be a sticking point to go from ideas to reality so I'll also be talking you through how to turn a sketch into a design pack.
By the end of session 2:
You’ll understand how to turn your creative ideas and sketches into something you can present to manufacturers!
Session 3 - MANUFACTURING, SOURCING & PRODUCTION
Learn the processes of manufacturing from paper right through to production!
Do you use a seamstress or a factory?' 'How do I know what to say in order to sound professional?' 'What order shall I do everything in?' 'Where can I get good quality fabric?' All these questions and more will be answered this session!
By the end of session 3:
You’ll understand the key process of manufacturing and be ready to approach suppliers!
Session 4 - 30-DAY IG CONTENT STRATEGY
The final session is dedicated to IG! We'll be going back to session 1's mission statement & understanding the kind of content your audience wants to see from you.
We’ll cover what to post, how often to post it, how to find hashtags, and more, leaving you with excitement at the idea of posting on insta, rather than dread.
I'll also be giving you a 30 day content plan to take away with lots of ideas to stay consistent after the course ends!
By the end of session 4:
You’ll feel confident about how to sell your product on socials and have a clear strategy.
